1970 Challenger R/T Convertible For Sal.
American Street Machines, Inc is proud to offer this rare Plum Crazy Purple 1970 Challenger R/T Convertible 440 6 pack for sale out of a private collection. This is a SUPER nice rotisserie restored Challenger R/T that is ready for any high-end collection or show. Correct 440/390hp 3-2bbl six pack option with a 4 speed manual transmission. Correct FC7 Plum Crazy Hi-Impact with Black Leather interior and Black soft top. Ultra rare Mopar being 1 of only 963 R/T Challengers produced in 1970 and only year offered in a convertible plus 1 of only 99 R/T Convertibles produced with the 440 Six Pack option. Since this unit was produced with the (FC7) Plum Crazy “High Impact” color. Chrysler did not keep official per-color breakdown records for specific trim and body style combinations, so an exact factory number for Plum Crazy convertibles is not documented. Historians estimate that only a fraction of each engine option wore the Plum Crazy color paint, ultra-rare combinations (like Hemi or 440 Six Pack drop-tops in Plum Crazy) narrowing it down to single digits or unique 1 of 1 builds. This is a show ready rare investment quality Mopar that is ready for any collection or portfolio.
