1964 1/2 Mustang Convertible
This was the 1st year for the pony, and this car is an original survivor. It has had the same owner for 15 years. Except for a few minor rust bubbles on the bottom of the doors and quarters, this is an original, no-rust car with a very solid undercarriage.
Correct Poppy Seed Red paint (older, but in decent shape)
All-original white interior (in good shape with no rips or tears on the seats or cracks on the dash)
Soft top in great shape, but back plastic a little foggy
Original factory 260 V8 engine (installed carburetor from a ’67 Mustang; original carburetor supplied with car)
Original cruise-o-matic 2-speed transmission (shifts great)
Optioned with power steering and power top
New gas tank
If you’re in the market for a first-year Mustang, look into this car.
