Todd Willoughby

American Street Machines Owner

In the early 2000s, I was getting sick of the corporate world and wanted to get back to my passion of muscle cars. So, I started American Street Machines Inc in 2003.

All through high school, I was buying and selling cars. I was that kid who had a different car every week or two.

Also, I was the kid who was always reading magazines about Camaros, Corvettes, Chevelles, and other muscle cars. I studied production numbers, options, and what makes certain cars rare & collectible.

So, I took that knowledge and passion for cars, started the business, and shared a building with Tal from Best Metal Polishing. Early on, the number of photos we took per car set American Street Machines apart from the competition.

We were the first to put over 100 pictures per car on our website. Whatever you wanted to see on the car, we had you covered. VINs, engine stamps, date codes, and more were on our website for potential owners.

We quickly became the king of sight-unseen sales because we were the only ones giving that amount of detail. Sales blew up because of it.

Reputation among high-end collectors grew to the point they would call American Street Machines to sell part of their collection or if they were in the market for something rare and hard to find.

As a child I started driving my first Camaro in my Uncle’s Lap “turning the steering wheel.“ I knew from the start I LOVED fast cars. My dad had a Corvette and a Firebird Formula when I was a young Teen. My first vehicle was a 1980 Camaro that my dad had custom painted. I grew up doing Tucker Parades, car shows and was around cool cars all my life.

In 2010 My 1st husband and I opened our performance and repair shop in Norcross. We worked on all makes and models of classic and performance vehicles and we personally drove “performance cars “  from Mustangs to Corvettes  .

Currently ,I have a 89 Square body Dually and 68 Camaro LS3 Restomod . I also have a passion for Car Shows , Parades , and Community events . I coordinate events for local communities and have a duplicatable car show agenda I use to do 4 hour fundraising events.

I am a 6th generation native of GA and love my city and community and enjoy the car culture community .
